One of the first things I do when the mercury rises is treat myself to an at-home, all-out pedicure. We're talking soaking, scrubbing, trimming and moisturizing. But the best part is painting on a brand new color of lacquer. After months of living in boots and slippers, my feet need all the TLC they can get and a new bright color is the icing on the cake for this treat-yourself ritual. I find the hardest part isn't scrubbing away the calluses, or filing a perfect nail shape. It's narrowing down the color selection. To help aid in the decision-making process, I've showcased a few of my favorites from one of my favorite brands of polish, Essie. I'm usually devoted to their collections because of the vibrant colors, but I've remained loyal because of the smooth application, long-lasting color and good size brushes. No matter your skin tone, the above colors will add a spring to your step while showing off your new sandals (or at the very least put a smile on your face when you get a peek while getting dressed).
